NFL KickOff:

Houston Texans @ Kansas City Chiefs

The last three games between these franchises have a combined total of 76, 55, and 82 points. You have to take the Over in totals category. Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes can light it up.

NFL Sunday Week 1:

Miami Dolphins @ New England Patriots

The Totals here is of 43 points, considering both teams are testing new players, Cam Newton has to get to know the Patriots playbook while we know how volatile Ryan Fitzpatrick can be. You can either go for U 43 or even go for the Fins +6 as they usually are a team that complicates New England's life.

Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens

You really have two options here, either bet on the Browns talent to beat the spread or acknowledging Baltimore's rush game is enough to get more than a touchdown difference by the end of the 4th. I'm willing to go Ravens +8 since Stefanski is debuting as HC, but Baker Mayfield and that wild offense of the Browns can do its damage as well.

New York Jets @ Buffalo Bills

Buffalo's defense can surely nullify the Jets' lackluster offense, and the spread is of six for the Bills. They divided wins last season, but none were high-scoring games, so the U 39.5 is quite an attractive bet. The Jets defense was the second-best against the running game, while the Bills has a top-three defense in the league.

Las Vegas Raiders @ Carolina Panthers

Somehow, the Raiders are -2.5. This is a steal in my eyes, since Carolina is really going to struggle this year, and Derek Carr has been filled with weapons to create damage in a very young defensive core of the Panthers.

Seattle Seahawks @ Atlanta Falcons

Last time they combined for 47 points, both teams have improved their offense, and their total is 49, so the Over is really tempting. But you should also look strongly to the spread, as Seahawks -1 is very likely to happen.

Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions

The spread here is of -3 for Detroit, which is surprising. But the bet to make here is going for U 43.5 in the totals. Detroit has a good offense, but Chicago can punish Matthew Stafford all day long. On the other side, Chicago's offense is a question mark. Nick Foles and Mitch Trubisky are not elite QBs. David Montgomery is battling some injuries, so it's tough to see a high-scoring game.

Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville has done everything in their power to stink this season, while Indianapolis is seeking a divisional title. The spread is of -7.5 for the Colts, as the meme goes, "shut up and take my money," right?

HLos Angeles Chargers @ Cincinnati Bengals

The Chargers are my dark horse for the season, so watching the spread have them winning only by three against a dreadful team is reason enough to go for that -3. I could also see this as a high scoring game, the Bengals defense is basically non-existent, and Joe Burrow will surely produce something at this debut in the NFL, so O 44 also catches my eye.

Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers

Both games in 2019 passed the 50-point mark between these two. Arizona added DeAndre Hopkins, while San Fran is still a contender, so this one most probably goes O 47.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints

The game of the week has great offenses going at each other. You don't see Tom Brady and Drew Brees going for few points. Add Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Rob Gronkowski, and LeSean McCoy for Tampa, and Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara, and Emmanuel Sanders for the Saints. Even if the O 49.5 may seem a bit risky, it's a risk I'm willing to gamble on just by looking at the names in each team's depth chart.

Monday Night Football

Pittsburgh Steelers @ New York Giants

This is simple math. The Steelers forced 22 fumbles (second in the league), Giants QB Daniel Jones had 18 fumbles. Plus, the Giants' best weapon is RB Saquon Barkley, and the Steelers were the third-best defense in Yards Per Carry, allowing only 3.8. Oh, Pittsburgh has Ben Roethlisberger back! The spread is Steelers -4; that's the one to take.

Tennessee Titans @ Denver Broncos

Titans and Broncos are one of the week's best games, and both franchises are very talented, as the -1.5 spread suggests. That's why I'd instead look at the points total, which is set at 41. Looking at these teams and how talented they are on the offensive side, I might go for the O 41 in Week's 1's final game.
