Here's the review for all the games in week one of the NFL:

Houston Texans @ Kansas City Chiefs:

The first game of the season gives us a face-to-face between Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson, two of the most talented QBs in the NFL. Chiefs are the 10-point favorites on the spread, and, judging by the Divisional Round last season, when Kansas City scored 51 on Houston, and the fact that DeAndre Hopkins is no longer in the Texans squad makes it an uphill battle for Houston.

Miami Dolphins @ New England Patriots:

Usually the David of New England's Goliath, this year it seems it will be a very competitive game. The New England Patriots are stuck in the mud, while the Dolphins have taken many steps toward rebuilding. While New England is the -6.5 favorite, I see Miami producing an upset, or at least being a closer game than the spread would imply.

Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens:

The Cleveland Browns face high pressure this year and this is not the game they hoped would get the season underway. Facing the MVP Lamar Jackson and a team that is poised to compete for the Super Bowl in Baltimore is not a good start. Spread is of 9-points for the Ravens, and even though the Browns have talent, Baltimore Ravens are too explosive for Cleveland.

New York Jets @ Buffalo Bills:

The AFC East is for grabs, especially for the Buffalo Bills, who come as a -6 point favorites on the spread. They traded victories last season, but the Bills look like a dark horse in the AFC, while Adam Gase still manages the New York Jets.

Las Vegas Raiders @ Carolina Panthers:

Not going to be the most entertaining game but is crucial for both teams' aspirations. Las Vegas Raiders come as the -1 favorite on the spread. The Raiders have a better team all-around, but being away from home and with Christian McCaffrey in the backfield for the Panthers can make this a challenging game.

Seattle Seahawks @ Atlanta Falcons:

This can be the sleeper game of week one. Neither of the teams has a margin for error as they will try to compete for a playoff berth, and their divisions are loaded. I trust Russell Wilson more than I trust Matt Ryan, and the spread is a minimum -1 for Seattle. However, being at Atlanta can make room for an upset here.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Washington Redskins:

Washington Redskins are a wrecking mess of a franchise. Philadelphia Eagles are looking for a bright season after a turmoil in 2019 that saw their aspirations erased in the Wildcard. The Eagles are -6.5 favorites, and it's hard to picture the Skins pulling the victory.

Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions:

Chicago has an excellent defense and an atrocious offense. Detroit is the other way around. This will be a highly competitive game for all the wrong reasons. Bad decision making, not the best head coaches, but that will deliver plenty of fun in the gridiron. The Lions are the -1.5 favorites, but this is a coin toss.

Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars:

The recent past hasn't been kind to the Colts when facing the Jaguars. But Jacksonville is going to be one of the worst teams in the league, and the Colts want to go deep in the playoffs. No way they'll lose this one. The Colts come as -7 favorites, and quite frankly, that may be low.

Green Bay Packers @ Minnesota Vikings:

This game will be a barnburner. Classic rivalry, tough teams, healthy status, what's not to love? The Vikings are the 3.5 favorites in this game, and it is tough to see the Packers upset Minnesota after their atrocious offseason.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Cincinnati Bengals:

We all hope that Anthony Lynn throws Justin Herbert as the starter QB so we can see him battle fellow rookie Joe Burrow. Besides that, there is no point in thinking the Bengals can scratch a victory against a well-polished team like the Chargers that comes as the favorite -3. Still, the first taste of Burrow as an NFL starter should be exciting.

Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers:

The Cardinals are a team to watch closely this year, the 49ers a Super Bowl contender. Divisional game and at the latter stages of last season, we saw Richard Sherman being exposed in the secondary. How will he fare against Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, and Larry Fitzgerald? Interesting matchup. The spread is high, -8 for the Niners, I see a closer game unless San Fran's defensive line can harm Murray.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints:

Tom Brady makes his Buccaneers debut visiting none other than Drew Brees at the Superdome. Not only that, but this is a duel against two top contenders in the NFC who happen to be divisional rivals as well. An absolute war awaits at New Orleans, who is favored by 4. It's going to be a very tight game.

Dallas Cowboys @ Los Angeles Rams:

The Dallas Cowboys enter their first season with a new head coach after a decade of obscurity with Jason Garrett. The Rams are in a weird place, where they have talent not to stink, but not enough to fully compete. This is a matchup that can clarify each teams' position and realistic expectations for the season. The Cowboys are -2 point favorites, but the game is in LA, can go either way.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ New York Giants:

The Steelers are looking for a way back into the playoffs, and a win at the Big Apple against the Giants is achievable and can boost the morale of the team massively. They forced 22 fumbles last season, and Daniel Jones is not one to protect the football much, it will be a dream match for the Steelers. Pittsburgh comes as -3.5 favorites and is hard to picture that spread not being fulfilled.

Tennessee Titans @ Denver Broncos:

The Titans are weird, but they are a good team. The Broncos have done well these past few years in forming a tough team to beat, plus visiting Denver is not lovely. It will be a very even game, where Denver comes as the -2 favorites. Battle of offenses.
