Bet on the Celtics

It was to be the Celtics night. Boston made their stand and ended up winning Game 3 in Cleveland, 111-108.

Despite Isaiah Thomas not taking the court, the Celtics managed to be effective on shooting. Boston hit 18 of 14 threes with Marcus Smart accounting from seven of them.

very Bradley led the way, scoring 20 points including three from downtown. Meanwhile, Al Horford continues to struggle and has only hit 15 of 28 shots from the field through three games.

The Celtics got some serious contributions from their bench however, with Jonas Jerebko and Kelly Olynyk scoring a combined 25 points along with plenty of strength throughout the game.

Bet on the Cavaliers

You could argue that the Cavaliers rested on their laurels in Game 3 and hence the loss. Regardless, Cleveland let a 21-point lead slip through the cracks and allowed the Celtics to get to within one game of tying the series.

LeBron James took a breather, so it seemed, and uncharacteristically stepped off the accelerator. He only scored 11 points on 4 of 13 shooting from the field with six turnovers. Regardless, James is putting up 32.2 points on 55.4 FG%, 8.3 rebounds, and 7.0 assists in these playoffs, so don’t expect him to have another off-night.

Kevin Love was fired up, contributing with  28 points with seven three-pointers, while also grabbing 10 rebounds.
