Bet on the Senators

The Senators clawed their way back from a two-goal deficit in Game 5 to win 5-4 in overtime.

Kyle Turris sealed the victory at the sixth minute of overtime. He’s also scored one goal in back-to-back games.  Derrick Brassard, Erik Hoffman, and Mark Stone also scored for Ottawa, joining  Turris with three scores in the postseason.

These four will lead the offense in Game 6 with Erik Karlsson feeding the shots for them. Karlsson has 10 assists in these playoffs, tying for second-most in that time period.

Goalie Craig Anderson needs to make some adjustments to stop the Rangers from scoring. Over the last four games of this  series, he’s allowed 16 goals and could only amount to a .878 save percentage (115-for-131).

Bet on the Rangers

The Rangers had the Senators on the ropes in Game 5, leading for much of the game. But, towards the end of the game they saw their lead disappear for the eventual loss in overtime.

Game 6 will be played on their home ice however, where they have a greater shot at winning. The Rangers have won four straight at the Garden, with their defense only allowing one goal per game in their last three.

New York will rely on their main shooters-  Chris Kreider, Rick Nash, and Michael Grabner, and Mats Zucarello- to push towards a seventh game.

On defense, the Rangers will rely on goalie Henrik Lundqvist to keep the Senators scoreless. The future hall-of-famer has  2.18 goals against average in the playoffs, along with a .930 save percentage.
