Week 14 NFL Game Betting Insights

There are four weeks left in the NFL season, which means that teams do not have any more room for errors or losses, if they intend to make the playoffs. This means the rest of the games being played between playoff contenders will have a playoff type atmosphere, which should make the games even more exciting. Here is a look at some of the games to pay attention to this weekend.

Baltimore Ravens (7-5) vs. Miami Dolphins (7-5), Sunday, December 7, 1 PM. ET. CBS.

The Ravens have one of the easiest paths to the playoffs in the AFC, but they will need to get a win against Miami to make it easier on them. They will be focused on their running game, because Justin Forsett has been running the ball well this season, and the Dolphins have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL.

The Dolphins will need to play better defense in this game, than they have in the past two weeks. Luckily they are playing at home, and Ryan Tannehill has been playing very well lately, completing over 70% of his passes, and making their offense very efficient. They will be trying to snap a four game losing streak to Baltimore on Sunday.

Game Line: The Dolphins are favored to win by 2.5 points, the Over/Under is 45.5 points.

Personal Pick: The Dolphins will continue their strong play, and get the win at home.

Kansas City Chiefs (7-5) vs. Arizona Cardinals (9-3), Sunday, December 7, 4:05 PM. ET. FOX.

Kansas City's passing game hasn't been very efficient lately, which has attributed to their two game losing streaks, but Alex Smith will have a chance to get it going again, against the Cardinals, who allowed Matt Ryan to throw for 361 yards last week. This is a big game for the Chiefs, because they are one of the six teams in the AFC that are 7-5, and know that a loss will severely hurt their playoff chances.

The Cardinals two game losing streak has reduced their lead in the NFC West to one game, and they still have to play the Seattle Seahawks before the season is over, so they too can't afford to lose this game, if they want to win the division. They will be hoping to get Larry Fitzgerald back, after he was forced to miss the last two games due to injury.

Game line: The Cardinals are favored to win this game, the money line is -109, and the Over/Under is 40.5 points.

Personal Pick: The Chiefs are the more desperate team, and will find a way to win this game.

New England Patriots (9-3) vs. San Diego Chargers (8-4), Sunday, December 7, 8:30 PM. ET. NBC.

Tom Brady will be going for his 6th win over Phillip Rivers and the Chargers when they meet on Sunday night, the Patriots are coming off a loss to the Packers, which snapped their seven game winning streak, and reduced their lead in the AFC playoff race to one game over the Chargers. They will be trying to get back to their winning ways when they face the Chargers.

Phillip Rivers kept the Chargers alive for the playoffs with a comeback win against the Ravens, and they will be looking to add another win to their record, when they play the Patriots on Sunday. They will need to get some production from their running backs this week, because New England has one of the best pass defenses in the league.

Game Line: The Patriots are favored to win this game by 3.5 points, the Over/Under is 51 points.

Personal Pick: The Chargers will pull off the upset and get the win on Sunday.

Atlanta Falcons (5-7) vs. Green Bay Packers (9-3), Monday, December 8, 8:30 PM. ET.

The Falcons will put their two game winning streaks on the line against the red hot Packers at Lambeau field on Monday night, Matt Ryan will try to continue his hot streak against a suspect Packer secondary, but their defense will have their hands full with Aaron Rodgers.

The Packers will be trying to earn home field advantage in the playoffs by winning their remaining games, and have to feel good about their chances of winning on Monday. The offense is playing at a high level right now, and their defense will try to continue playing hard like they did against the Patriots, but they will have a tough time slowing down Julio Jones.

Game Line: The Packers are favored to win this game by 13 points, the Over/Under is 56 points.

Personal Pick: The Packers offense will be too much for Atlanta's defense to handle, and Green Bay will get the win.
