Carolina Panthers (2-1) at Baltimore Ravens (2-1), Sunday, September 28, 1 PM. ET. CBS

The Panthers almost made it to the NFC Championship game last year, and look like they have picked up where they left off last season. They are coming off a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who ran the ball successfully against them, and will try to avoid the same thing happening again when they face Baltimore.

Baltimore has had a lot of success running the ball, and will employ the same formula against the Panthers, wide receiver Steve Smith is also playing against his former team, so expect a big game from him.

Game Line: The Ravens are favored by 3.5 points, the Over/Under is 40.5 points.

Personal Pick: Baltimore’s running game will be too much for Carolina to handle, giving them the win.

Atlanta Falcons (2-1) at Minnesota Vikings (1-2), Sunday, September 28, 4:25 PM. ET. FOX.

The Falcons will try to exploit Minnesota’s pass defense, which is 13th in the league, but they will need to play better on the road, where they have had trouble winning recently. They also need to start running the ball better, to give their offense some balance.

The Vikings will start their fourth quarterback in two seasons when Teddy Bridgewater makes his first NFL start on Sunday, and they will be hoping he has more success than his predecessors. They still need to find a suitable replacement for Adrian Peterson, because they have been unable to run the ball effectively since they deactivated him.

Game Line: The Falcons are favored to win the game by 3 points, the Over/Under is 47 points.

Personal Pick: The Falcons will defeat the one dimensional Vikings.

New Orleans Saints (1-2) at Dallas Cowboys (2-1), Sunday, September 28, 8:30 PM. ET. NBC.

The Injury to Tony Romo forced Dallas to run the ball more, and it has worked very well for them, with DeMarco Murray leading the league in rushing yards, and taking a lot of pressure off Romo. They will try to continue doing the same against the Saints, but might not be as effective, because the Saints have the 10th best rush defense in the NFL.

The Saints will be trying to snap their five game losing streak on the road against the Cowboys, and will have a good chance to do so, because the Cowboys have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. They have won their last four games against Dallas, so they should be confident going into this game.

Game Line: The Saints are favored to win the game by 3.5 points, the Over/Under is 53 points.

Personal Pick: Dallas has played well so far this season, but they will be unable to stop the potent Saints offense.

New England Patriots (2-1) at Kansas City Chiefs (1-2), Monday, September 28, 8:30 PM. ET. ESPN.

The Patriots invested a lot of money in their defense this offseason, and it has been paying off so far, but their offense, which has been one of the best in the league for a very long time, doesn’t look very good so far, and will have to improve if they are to make it back into the playoffs.

The Chiefs have been hit hard by injuries on offense and defense, which is why they are 1-2 so far, Alex Smith will have to pick up the slack for the offense which is missing Jamaal Charles, but he will have a tough time against the Patriots defense, which is the best pass defense in the NFL.

Game Line: The Patriots are favored to win the game by 4 points, the Over/Under is 45 points.

Personal Pick: The Chiefs will be overwhelmed by the Patriots defense, and will lose this game.
