Oklahoma City Thunder vs Los Angeles Clippers

  • Time: Wednesday, March 02, 2016 10:30 PM ET
  • Place: STAPLES Center

Bet on the Thunder

The Thunder rolled in once again, with a win over the Sacramento Kings on Monday by a score of 131-116. It gave Oklahoma City some respite after falling to Golden State in overtime, 121-118, just when they thought they had the win in their hands.

Of course, the main players were once again the dynamic duo of Westbrook and Durant, the former of which put up his ninth triple-double with 20 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists in the game against Sacramento.

However, heading into their game against the Clippers, they’ll need a full team effort to defeat Los Angeles at home. Despite not having Blake Griffin in the fold, Los Angeles has still managed to win 23 games while only losing 7, going back to December.

The Thunder has already defeated the Clippers back when they played in December. And, this time around Durant will have the added advantage of not being guarded by Luc Richard Mbah, who kept him to 34 points.

Bet on the Clippers

Los Angeles is within striking distance of grabbing third place in the Western Conference from Oklahoma City in having won over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday.

In a hard fought game, the Clippers snatched a 105-95 win against Brooklyn and stretched their winning streak to two-in-a-row.

Chris Paul took the lead in that game, scoring 23 points and handing out 12 assists and has been the motor that powers the Clippers offense. He’ll undoubtedly be a major factor in tonight’s game, as the last time these two met he lit up the scoreboard with 32 points.

J.J Redick and Jamal Crawford are also expected to step things up for this game and contribute to score points. This pair has combined to be an effective threat, which gives Paul some extra breathing room to score points in the absence of Blake Griffin.
