  • What: San Francisco Giants vs Arizona Diamondbacks
  • When:  Thursday, April 6, 2017 – 9:40 PM ET
  • Where: Chase Field
  • Moneyline: Giants -105 vs Diamondbacks -105
  • Over/Under: 194
  • Listed Pitchers: SFG J Samardzija - ARI Robbie Ray

Analysis: Jeff Samardzija takes the mound tonight for the Giants in hopes of turning things around after Matt Moore had a horrible outing in the third game of the series, when he gave up six runs on eight hits and two walks over 5 innings. Samardzija went 2-0 with a 2.91 ERA in 2016 against the Diamondbacks and considering the Arizona’s batters are .237 against him, it bodes well for the lefty tonight. Taijuan Walker started for Arizona and his performance was equal to that of Moore’s, allowing four earned runs on seven hits in six innings. What  capped it off for the D’Backs was its offense, eight different batters recorded a hit, six of which had RBIs. Though Paul Goldschmidt is 3-for-21 and nine strikeouts against Samardzija, he could turn things around in this game. Lefty Robbie Ray gets the nod for Arizona having a 8-15 win-loss card with a 4.90 ERA last year.

Betting Trends: Arizona is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games, Arizona is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games. San Francisco is 9-3 ATS in its last 12 games, San Francisco is 2-5 SU in its last 7 games

Game Prediction: Giants should be able to even the series.

  • What: Atlanta Braves vs New York Mets
  • When: Thursday, April 06, 2017 7:10 PM ET
  • Where: Citi Field
  • Moneyline: Braves +140 vs Mets -155
  • Over/Under: 7.5
  • Listed Pitchers: ATL J. Garcia - NYM M. Harvey

Analysis: Behind an RBI double with the bases loaded in the 12th inning from Matt Kemp, the Braves defeated the Mets 3-1. However, most of the Braves’ sluggers weren’t as successful with Freddie Freeman, Nick Markakis, Ender Inciarte only hitting a combined 1 of 15 at bat. Veteran pitcher Bartolo Colon had a good outing last night, giving up only one hit and one run over six innings while striking out six batters. Newcomer Jaime Garcia gets the nod tonight and he owns a 20-19 record with a 3.70 ERA in just over 20 starts in the past two seasons. As for the Mets, starting pitcher Jacob deGrom also had a good outing, only allowing two hits and one walk over six innings while fanning out six. But, as was the case for the Braves, Mets’ batters struggled on offense with Yoenis Cespedes, Asdrubal Cabrera, Curtis Granderson, and Neil Walker going 1 for 18 with two walks. Matt Harvey starts on the mound with high-hopes of increasing his 11-9 record with the Mets over 20 starts at Citi Field.

Betting Trends: The total has gone UNDER in 5 of NY Mets' last 5 games, NY Mets is 3-9 ATS in its last 12 games at home. Atlanta is 12-4 ATS in its last 16 games, Atlanta is 13-3 SU in its last 16 games.

Game Prediction: Mets win.
