Golden State Warriors Betting

In outscoring the Cleveland Cavaliers by 48 points over the first two games of this series, the Warriors appear to be in the driving seat and well on the way to crowning themselves with another NBA Championship. And, this isn’t even with much help from their biggest guns, the league’s first ever regular season MVP, Stephen Curry, and the other half of the Splash Brothers, Klay Thompson.

Over the first two games, Curry only had to score a combined 29 points, while Thompson averaged 13 points per game and they still won. Curry even sat out for a long spell in game 2.

The Warriors may have found the Cavaliers’ ticket and have now won seven consecutive games against them. Though it’s unlikely they’ll end up sweeping the series, it’s pretty obvious Golden State is playing at a much better level right now and it seems as if Cleveland doesn’t have much to fight back.

Cleveland Cavaliers Betting

One would’ve thought this was going to go down in history as one of the best NBA battles in recent history. However, the first two games’ result left much to be desired. Even with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving playing alongside James, the Cavaliers were schooled almost to ridicule.

Now, nobody is saying the Warriors can shout victory just yet; but, Cleveland will have to pull out all the stops if they don’t want to be swept. Lose this game and it’s pretty much over. LeBron James and Kyrie Irving will have to play at a whole ‘nother level if they want to stay in competition.

Case in point, though James kept it close during the first half of game 2, it all went far South in the second half. James even sat it out for much of the fourth period because by that time the game was all but over.

And, matters get even worse if you consider Love will probably not be playing in game 3 because of a concussion he suffered in the second game. This puts major pressure on Irving and James to come through. Even if they’re on their home court, they’re still the 1-point underdogs.
