  • When : April 28, 2017, 10:30 PM ET
  • Where: Honda Center – Anaheim, CA
  • Moneyline: Oilers +125 vs Ducks -138
  • Over/Under: 5

Betting on the Oilers?

Edmonton hit the ice and the Ducks hard, clawing their way to victory in the first game. They also stole home-ice advantage by winning.

The Oilers played a scorching third period, scoring four of their five goals of the game including two by veteran Adam Larsson.

Mark Letestu also found the back of the net twice on a couple of power play opportunities while Leon Draisaitl knocked the last goal to seal the deal.

Cam Talbot made 33 saves. He has now stopped 186 of the 201 shots he faced in the postseason (.925 save percentage).

Betting on the Ducks?

The Ducks’ 18-game undefeated streak came to cold stop after losing the first game of this series.

The Ducks were shell shocked for a while in the third period of the first game, but after a couple of goals from the Oilers they answered back with a couple of goals from Patrick Eaves and Jakob Silfverberg.

John Gibson gave up four goals in the 31 shots he faced (.871), but had three games with 30 or more saves and .938 or better save percentages in the previous round.

Game Prediction: The Ducks will control the flow of the game and win.

New York Rangers vs Ottawa Senators

  • When: Thursday, April 27, 2017, 7:00 PM ET
  • Where: Canadian Tire Centre, Ottawa
  • Moneyline: Rangers -103 vs Senators -107
  • Over/Under: 5

Betting on the Rangers?

Henrik Lundqvist was an iron wall in the Rangers’ series against the Canadiens. Lundqvist went 4-2 with a 1.70 GAA and a .947 SV% over the six games it took to eliminate Montreal.

The star goalie also has had good performances against the Senators, not allowing more than two goals in five of his last six starts against Ottawa.

New York does have to improve their scoring on power play opportunities. Over the first round, they went 1-for-15 on the man advantage and finished with a 6.7 PP%–the worst among all teams in the first round.

Betting on the Senators?

Boston came out victorious in their six-game series against Boston. However, defenseman Erik Karlsson revealed that he’s playing with a couple of hairline fractures which might bug him in this series.

Karlsson has the onus of defending against Rangers’ forwards Chris Kreider, Rich Nash, and J.T. Miller, who all have over 20 goals this year. Bobby Ryan and Derick Brassard, who scored a combined six goals in the previous round, are also solid candidates to score tonight.

Game Prediction: New York wins the first game.
