San Jose Sharks Betting

The Sharks are in hot water after losing game 4. Tonight it’s due or die for them if they want to keep their hopes alive.

That means that Joe Pavelski and Logan Couture will have to do whatever it takes to fire up this team’s offense and score some goals on Matt Murray. Otherwise, the Sharks are done.

Pavelski drives this team’s offense, however he’s been struggling throughout this series and it’s part of the reason why San Jose now finds itself in this position. Pavelski leads the team with 13 goals and 9 assists, though he hasn’t scored in his last four games. As for Couture, he’s put up 8 goals, but hasn’t had one at all in this series.

Without these two scoring, it doesn’t look like the Sharks have anything to win tonight. The Sharks are 2-2 in their last 4 games away from home.

Goalie Martin Jones will also have to do whatever it takes to stop goals from finding the back of his net. In game 4, Jones allowed three goals on 20 shots taken which just won’t do.

Pittsburgh Penguins Betting

The Penguins appear to be well on their way of winning their second cup in seven years. Having won game 4, they may have all the momentum they need to win tonight on their home ice at Consol Energy Centre, where they’re 4-1 SU in their last 5 games there.

Evgeni Malkin had a breakout game, scoring a goal and assisting on another. Along with  Nick Bonino, Carl Hagelin and Phil Kessel, the Penguins have all they need to win tonight.

Goalie Matt Murray fell into line after having a less than stellar performance in game 3. Murray stopped 23 of 24 shots taken by the Sharks on Monday.
