New England Patriots vs Carolina Panthers

Bet on the Patriots

The New England Patriots are trucking along, taking their preseason record to 2-0 after defeating the Chicago Bears 23-22. Even while star quarterback Tom Brady sat out this game, after suffering a cut hand, backup QB Jimmy Garoppolo took care of things, leading the way with 181 passing yards and one touchdown. AJ Derby and Chris Hogan led the receiving corps, combining for 124 receiving yards and one touchdown, while LeGarrette Blount led on the ground with 69 yards and one touchdown.

Bet on the Panthers

The Carolina Panthers are now 1-1 after defeating the Tennessee Titans 26-16 in their second preseason game. Cam Newton was at the helm and led the way with 162 passing yards and one touchdown completing 8 of 12 passes. Ted Ginn Jr. and Marcus Lucas combined for a total of 100 receiving yards and one touchdown, while Brandon Wegher led on the ground with 24 yards on eight carries.

Buffalo Bills vs Washington Redskins

Bet on the Bills

After having lost their first preseason game, the Buffalo Bills came back to shutout the New York Giants, taking their preseason record to 1-1. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor completed 9 of 13 passes over the past two games, while E.J. Manuel and Cardale Jones are still battling for the backup spot at the quarterback position. Walt Powell and Greg Little led the way in the receiving corps with a combined total 12 receptions, while Johnathan Williams and James Wilder Jr. lead on the ground with 16 carries a piece.

Bet on the Redskins

The Washington Redskins lost their first game to the Atlanta Falcons, but came back to defeat the New York Jets in their second preseason game. Though star quarterback Kirk Cousins did not play in the second game, backup QBs Colt McCoy and Nate Sudfield took care of things, with McCoy slightly besting Sudfield in completed passes with 20 of 29 versus 20 of 35. Rashard Ross led the way on the receiving end, completing eight catches through two games, followed by Ryan Grant who now has seven. Washington has had some difficulties on the other side of the ball, allowing 20.5 points per game along with 354 yards.

Game Prediction: Redskins win this game.
