Week 15 Against The Spread Picks

New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers

When: December 17, 2017, 4:25 PM ET
Where: Heinz Field
Spread: Patriots -2.5
Total: NA
Moneyline: Patriots -155 vs Steelers +135

In the game of the week, these two are tied at 11-2 after the Steelers beat the Ravens as did the Patriots the Dolphins.

The Patriots didn’t impress in their game against Miami, but it might have lighted a fire in their bellies to head over to Pittsburgh to right their way.

Bill Belichick was unhappy in the post-game interview and his scorn was apparent so he’ll be drilling his guys hard.

New England will also have Rob Gronkowski back on the field which means an extra target for Tom Brady to cut through the Steelers defense.

This doesn’t mean Pittsburgh doesn’t have weapons of their own, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown being two that will keep the Pat’s defense on their toes, but nevertheless head into this game as the underdogs despite playing at home.

Patriots vs Steelers Betting Trends

  • New England is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games
  • New England is 8-1 ATS in its last 9 games on the road
  • Pittsburgh is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Pittsburgh is 1-4-1 ATS in its last 6 games when playing New England

ATS Pick: Patriots -2.5

Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks

When: December 17, 2017, 4:05 PM ET
Where: CenturyLink Field
Spread: Seahawks -2
Total: 48
Moneyline: Seahawks -130 vs Rams +110

It’s going to be a long game for the Rams, especially for the defense. Russell Wilson will have at them via the passing game using Jimmy Graham as one of his main targets and will likely punch holes that takes them down the field.

The Rams just lost their grip on the NFC West in their defeat at the hands of the Eagles last week and it’s something that’ll cost them a pretty penny.

Don’t expect Jared Goff or Todd Gurley to gain much traction in this game. With the NFC West title on the line and the possibility of hosting a playoff game at home, the Seahawks will do what it takes to stop these guys cold.

It’s also a home game for Seattle and this will make it extra tough on the Rams.

Rams vs Seahawks Betting Trends

  • LA Rams is 6-2 ATS in its last 8 games
  • LA Rams is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games on the road
  • Seattle is 2-4-1 ATS in its last 7 games
  • Seattle is 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games at home

ATS Pick: Seahawks -2

Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs

When: December 16, 2017, 8:25 PM ET
Where: Arrowhead Stadium
Spread: Chargers -1
Total: 46
Moneyline: Chargers -125 vs Chiefs +105

The Chargers are the best team in the AFC West at the moment and they’ve come a long way since being 0-4. The Chiefs have also picked up some momentum and winning this game could be huge for them.

Nevertheless, I don’t expect the Chiefs to win and see Phillip Rivers have a big game. Rivers should be able to have his way against the Chiefs secondary and weak pass rush. In fact, I see LA’s pass rush and secondary having a field day against Alex Smith.

The Chargers have also done well in Arrowhead and have covered in four of the last five meetings, a trend I expect to continue in this game.

Chargers vs Chiefs Betting Trends

  • LA Chargers is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games
  • LA Chargers is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games on the road
  • Kansas City is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Kansas City is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games at home

ATS Pick: Chargers -1

Cincinnati Bengals at Minnesota Vikings

When: December 17, 2017, 1:00 PM ET
Where: U.S. Bank Stadium
Spread: Vikings -11
Total: 42
Moneyline: Vikings -530 vs Bengals +435

The Vikings stumbled in their game against Carolina. But, it gives all the more reason to believe they’ll take it out on the Bengals in this game.

After a three-game road trip, the Vikings are back at home so they’ll be extra motivated to get back on the road to winning.

Case Keenum will lead the offense to crush the Bengals. The Vikings offense ranks seventh in the NFL in yards per game (369.3) and you can be certain they’ll be racking up as many yards in this game.

Minnesota’s defense will also make it a long night for the Bengals offense. Look for defensive end Everson Griffen to wreak havoc and gain at least a couple of sacks and linebacker Eric Kendricks to also lead the way in tackles.

Vikings vs Bengals Betting Trends

  • Cincinnati is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Cincinnati is 6-2 ATS in its last 8 games on the road
  • Minnesota is 6-1 ATS in its last 7 games at home
  • Minnesota is 7-1 ATS in its last 8 games
