Top Three NFL Week 4 Predictions

Week 3 of the 2017 NFL season provided a lot of excitement and surprising results.

The Browns were favored to win a game for the first time in forever against a Colts team that is still without starting quarterback Andrew Luck. Not surprisingly, the Browns still found a way to lose.

The Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Oakland Raiders also lost over the weekend to teams they were expected to beat.

Even the New England Patriots suffered a scare against the Houston Texans and needed a last-minute Tom Brady led a comeback to win the game.

Thursday Night NFL Football Picks

With all the excitement in week 3, it’s time to take a look at week 4 and make a few bold predictions.

The Browns will get their first win of the season against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Okay, since both teams are currently winless, this isn’t really a bold prediction.

But, the fact the Bengals were considered a playoff team at the beginning of the season, while the Browns were expected to compete for the top pick in next year’s draft, it’s still a solid prediction.

The Bengals’ offense finally came alive against the Green Bay Packers, but the team still found a way to lose the game.

The Browns on the other hand have been showing signs of life all season long, so it makes sense that their first win of the season comes against their AFC North rivals.

Kansas City Chiefs lose their first game of the season to the Washington Redskins.

After getting embarrassed by the Philadelphia Eagles in their season opener, the Redskins have been playing some very good ball, which the Oakland Raiders experienced on Sunday night.

Next week, I expect the Redskins to hand another AFC West team their first loss of the season.

The Chicago Bears will defeat the Green Bay Packers on Thursday.

Even though the Packers have dominated the rivalry in recent years, Green Bay is dealing with a lot of injuries right now, so their offense isn’t clicking on all cylinders.

The Bears on the other hand have been competitive in two of their three games and just handed the Steelers their first loss of the season.

The Bears also run the ball well, which is something the Packers have had trouble stopping in the past. I expect the game to be close but the Bears will find a way to get the win.

The New York Jets will win their second consecutive game.

Despite being written off as the worst team in the league prior to the start of the season, the Jets pulled off an impressive victory over the Miami Dolphins in a game that was never close on Sunday.

With the Jacksonville Jaguars coming into town next week, the Jets have a great chance to get their second victory of the season against a team that has been the definition of inconsistent this season.

The Jaguars are coming off an impressive win against the Baltimore Ravens, but I expect the team to fold as they did in week 2 after defeating the Houston Texans in their season opener.
