Real Madrid Betting

Zinedine Zidane’s squad managed to play to a draw in the first leg, despite missing their star attackers Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. And, even though they could have done with scoring a valuable away goal, which would have given them a clear advantage, the score nevertheless favors them as they play on their home pitch at Bernabeu.

If they manage to win tomorrow, it would be Real’s 14th time reaching the UEFA Finals, which this year is being played in Milan, Italy. Undoubtedly, Ronaldo has been the motor that’s powered this year’s offense in this competition. The Portuguese player has scored 16 goals and assisted in 4 in this competition. And, though injured in the first game which kept him off the pitch, he will be looking to please the fans with at least one goal (bearing he plays, of course).

Both Ronaldo and Benzema are questionable for tomorrow’s match. However, in their absence, Welshman Gareth Bale has picked up the slack and managed to score in each of three games the squad has played without Ronaldo. Regardless, it favors Real that they’ll be playing at Bernabeu, where they’ve not only kept a clean sheet in every Champions league match there played but also have traditionally played been effective in winning.

Madrid, known for its aggressive attack, sat deep in the first match and played defensively rather than seeking a win. Something which they accomplished. Now, the statistics are on Madrid’s side, with only 31 per cent of the teams who have drawn on the home leg going on to the finals.

Manchester City Betting

The Citizens are on the verge of a historic achievement. In fact, this squad has been the only one that has passed the round of 16 in this competition. And now, Manuel Pellegrini’s boys are in the hunt of breaking Keylor Nava’s sheet of 10 matches out of 11 without allowing a goal in the Champions.

In this regard, Man City hopes that Real’s point man, Ronaldo, does not take the pitch in tomorrow’s match. As we saw in the last round, with a fantastic hat trick, Ronaldo showed how effective he can be even when facing a two goal deficit.

It’s Man City’s task of seeking a win at Bernabeu, something that they did not accomplish at Etihad in the first leg. Pellegrini has stated that they’ll come out playing aggressively and press for a score rather than seek the goalless draw. With the likes of Sergio Aguero, Kevin DeBruyne and David Silva, it’s entirely possible they can score. Silva however, might have to be replaced by Yaya Toure, after having suffered an injury to his hamstring that forced him to leave the match right before the half in the first game.

On defense, the Citizens received a huge boost from Vincent Kompany’s return. Even if they did not win the first match, they kept Real’s attacks at bay.

Game Predictions: Real Madrid has the advantage of playing at Bernabeu. Cristiano Ronaldo will take the pitch and come out playing his aggressive self, which will garner him an early goal. Real Madrid wins 2-0.
