NBA Predictions and Previews: Grizzlies vs Warriors

This is a day for history. Not only will it mark the end of a history career, in Kobe Bryant’s last game, but the Warriors are one win away of breaking the 1995-96 Bulls’ record of most wins in a season. This being said, let’s look at this game’s preview to see what we can expect.

Bet on the Grizzlies

The Grizzlies imploded on Tuesday, losing to the Los Angeles Clippers 110-84. It doesn’t bode well for them tonight either, considering who their up against.

The loss was their third in a row and their ninth of their last ten. All things considered, the Grizzlies look just about done. Without Marc Gasol and Mike Conley, both are out with injuries, Memphis has slid into oblivion and it’s unlikely they’ll be able to get back to a team that can compete heading into the postseason.

Memphis’ starting lineup against the Clippers, consisting of Chris Andersen, Zach Randolph, Jordan Farmar, Matt Barnes and Vince Carter, is not up to any standard least of all against the Warriors’ scoring machine.

Bet on the Warriors

The Warriors are looking forward to the playoffs. Clearly, they don’t have to give this game an all-out effort. Regardless, even without giving too much, they still are probably too much to handle for the Grizzlies who, as mentioned above, are without Gasol and Conley.

This means that they’ll probably end up breaking the Bulls’ record tonight and there’s nothing the Grizzlies will be able to do about it in our opinion. At the buzzer you’ll see the Warriors reach a new high for regular season wins, 73 to be exact, and another record will be up for grabs for the future.

Needless to say, Stephen Curry is once again leading this team to accomplishing this historic feat. Against the Spurs, Curry put up 37 points which is just shy of the 40 points he put up the Warriors beat the Grizzlies last time they played. Whether it’s Curry or Thompson, you can expect a barrage of point being scored tonight.

Betting Trends

  • Memphis is 1-9 SU in its last 10 games
  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Memphis's last 6 games
  • Memphis is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games on the road
  • The total has gone UNDER in 8 of Golden State's last 9 games when playing Memphis
  • Golden State is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games when playing at home against Memphis
  • Golden State is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games when playing at home against Memphis

Game Prediction: I’d be surprised if Curry doesn’t score at least 35 points tonight. The Warriors will be on the warpath, hungry to break the Bulls’ record and leading the way will be Curry. Warriors win by a landslide.
