Friday

San Antonio Spurs vs Houston Rockets

This is a big game for both teams, because they are trying to move into second place in the Western Conference. The Spurs defeated the Rockets in San Antonio on Wednesday night, so the Rockets will be trying to repay the favor in Houston, but they will have to be at their best against a Spurs team that has won nine straight games.

Betting Prediction

My Pick: The Spurs are playing better than any other team in the NBA right now, and they will get their 10th straight win.

Phoenix Suns vs New Orleans Pelicans

The Suns were eliminated from the playoffs on Wednesday, so they don’t have much to play for, but they would love nothing more than to ruin the Pelicans chances of making the playoffs, so expect them to play very hard.

The Pelicans are currently in the eighth spot in the West, and are trying to hold on to their position, but they are being chased by the Oklahoma City Thunder, which makes this a very big game for them.

Game Predictions

My Pick: New Orleans will fight tooth and claw on this one. I'm going for the Pelicans against the spread.

Saturday

Toronto Raptors vs Miami Heat

The Raptors are trying to secure home court advantage in the playoffs, so this is a big game for them. They have a one game lead over the Washington Wizards, who are fifth in the East, and can’t afford to lose any of their four remaining games.

The Heat are also in a must win situation, because they are the 10th seed in the East, but only one game behind the eighth place Brooklyn Nets. A win against Toronto will put them back in the eighth spot, and in the driver’s seat.

Where I'm Placing My Money

My Pick: Miami is faltering right now, and the Heat have lost seven of their last 10 games, which makes it hard to pick them to win. I’m putting my money on the Raptors to get the win.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Los Angeles Clippers

This will be the final meeting of the year between these teams, the Grizzlies have won two of the three games, but the Clippers won the last meeting. The stakes are very high in this game, because a win will help the Grizzlies hold on to their position in the Western Conference standings, and a loss will vault the Clippers from the fifth spot in the standings, to the second spot.

Your Best Bet

My Pick: The Clippers have won nine of their last 10 games, and will make it 10 wins in 11 games by defeating the Grizzlies.

Sunday

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Indiana Pacers

The Thunder are still within reach of the final playoff spot in the West, but they will need to snap out of their slump in order to do so. The team has lost four straight games against playoff teams, and can’t afford to lose any more, if they don’t want the Pelicans to extend their lead over them for the final spot.

The Pacers are in a similar situation to the Thunder, they are currently ninth in the Eastern Conference, one game behind Boston and Brooklyn, so this is a must win for them, if they don’t want to fall too back behind in the playoff race.

The Smart Bet Is

My Pick: The Pacers have been playing well since Paul George’s return, and I expect them to continue doing so, and get the win over the Thunder.
