Portland Trail Blazers vs Golden State Warriors

Trail Blazers Betting

The Warriors did all they could to try and stop the Warriors from winning game 4 and they almost did if not for Golden State’s one-man scoring machine Stephen Curry, who was back on the court for this game.

Now, the Trail Blazers are between a rock and hard place to say the least and the odds are stacked heavily against their favor. You see, only nine teams in history have come back from being 3 games down and none of those teams faced a team such as this year’s Warriors with a player like Curry in their ranks.

That’s not to say the Blazers won’t put up a fight. Damian Lillard is one heck of a player, even managing to put up 40 points in game 3. But, the Blazers cannot rely just on him to get past the Warriors. Portland will need Lillard to put up at least 40 points and have every other team member contribute with their own best performance as well.

Not only that, they’ll have to figure out a way of stopping Green, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry which as everyone knows is highly unlikely.

Warriors Betting

This year’s Warriors will go down in history as Curry’s team. Some have even compared them to Jordan’s Bulls. Whether or not that’s true still remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain, Golden State with Curry is a well-oiled scoring machine. Even when closely guarded and double or triple-teamed, the league’s reigning MVP managed to put up 40 points in game 4.

Golden State is really, really hard to beat when Curry’s playing. And, Curry is playing tonight which is why the odds are stacked in the Warriors’ favor. Curry has not played since the first round, watching on the sidelines while his team had to adapt for each game without him. Had he played healthy, the Warriors would have probably swept both rounds.

With Curry back in the fold, the Warriors will get back to business and focus on passing the ball around to get it into the hands of their main shooter or open up with Green and Thompson. The rest of the team will also play off the crowd’s intensity and likely have a good night as well.
