NBA Game Card for Monday

This Monday is a very special day in the NBA because it is Martin Luther King day and that means a full day of NBA action.

Betting on basketball has never been easier at Skybook. Do not miss out on Skybook’s free half point promotion available for Basketball straight wagers placed Fridays from 2pm -10pm EST. In basketball every point counts, so this is a promotion that you cannot afford to miss.

Due to the holiday the NBA games will start in the afternoon and go all day long. Here is a look at some of the great games on tap for the holiday.

Phoenix Suns at New York Knicks

The Phoenix Suns will celebrate their holiday in the Big Apple when they take on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. This game will be a reunion of sorts for some of the players involved in the afternoon tilt.

Amar'e Stoudemire used to be a member of the Phoenix Suns and when he faces his old team he will look to score at least 20 points. He has an incredible streak of 20 or more points in a game that dates back to early in the season.

The Suns don’t play much defense so the scoring will be a plenty and Steve Nash will drive the Suns offense as they try and do the same. This early game will provide plenty of fireworks and points to get the day started right.

Oklahoma City Thunder at LA Lakers

The holiday ends with a nightcap on TNT featuring the Oklahoma City Thunder against the LA Lakers.

The Thunder is led by Kevin Durant, who is one of the best young players in the game. The Thunder are competing well against some of the best teams in the league and they are undefeated in prime time games this year with a perfect 7-0 record.

Kobe Bryant and the Lakers will look to put an end to that streak. The Lakers are playing like the defending champions and winning games with ease of late. The bench is contributing and the defense has improved which has led to the recent winning run.

Enjoy your holiday and a slate full of basketball by placing a few wagers at Skybook!
