With an estimated audience of 109 million people, the 2009 Champions League final surpassed that year's Super Bowl (106 million viewers) for the first time, becoming the most-watched annual single sport event in the world. 
 
The UEFA Champions League comprises of three qualifying rounds, a play-off round, a group stage round and four knockout rounds.

The beauty of the UEFA Champions league is the amount of superstars that play in this tournament.   With the likes of goal scorers Samuel Eto’o of Internazionale, who leads all scorers with seven goals, and Barcelona’s little dynamo Lionel Messi, who is second in the league with six goals, to the ever dangerous Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid.
