NHL Hockey Schedule in Review: Thursday

Thursday night is full of hot action on the ice when the NHL offers up eight great hockey games for the fans to watch and wager on.

This Thursday presents some great games that are must-watch games for the die-hard hockey fan. Here is a look at two of the games on tap for Thursday night.
Vancouver Canucks at New York Rangers
The Vancouver Canucks are clearly one of the hottest teams in the league right now, but they will be challenged when they travel to Madison Square Garden to play against the NY Rangers.
The Canucks are true road warriors as they are 12-5-3 on the road this season. They have won four out of the five last games in the month of January and will try to keep the winning month in tact with a win against the Rangers. The Rangers are not playing too shabby either.
The Rangers have rolled off three wins in a row and will have two days off to prepare for this game. This will be one of the most entertaining games of the night in the NHL.
Philadelphia at Boston Bruins
The Philadelphia Flyers head to Beantown to take on the Boston Bruins in what should be a very physical hockey game.
The Flyers have a solid road record this year at 13-4-3 and play well in front of a hostile crowd. The Flyers are powered by some little known talent like James van Riemsdyk. Riemsdyk just scored his tenth goal and he will look to get on the board again when they face the Bruins.
The Bruins have stumbled early in the New Year with just two wins, but recently defeated Pittsburgh and will try to ride that momentum for the rest of the month.
This is just two of the exciting NHL games on tap for Thursday night. When the puck drops get ready to watch some great hockey.
