The Celtics will enter this Christmas Day contest with the Orlando Magic as the hottest team in basketball and one of the favorites to win the NBA Championship. They seem to be steamrolling through every opponent in the league and they can even win games when some of their best players are injured. Lately point guard superstar Rajon Rando sat out a few games and the Celtics didn’t skip a beat.
The Magic are trying to get to the sam level and made a trade with the Suns ti improve their team. The Suns made a blockbuster six-player deal that sent Jason Richardson, Hedo Turkalo and Earl Clark to Orlando for Vince Carter, Marcin Gortat and Mickael Pietrus. The Magic also sent Rashard Lewis to the Washington Wizards to get the controversial Gilbert Arenas. This game will show if the trade helped the Magic.
Miami Heat at LA Lakers
This has to be the most star studded game of the Christmas Day games. The Miami Heat bring in the big three of LeBron james, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh to face the deep and talented LA Lakers.
The Lakers are led by head coach Phil Jackson and Kobe Bryant. Jackson has stated that he hates to play on Christmas Day. Bryant will try to give Jackson a present by leading the Lakers to victory over the very talented Miami Heat.
