The San Francisco 49ers had high hopes heading into this NFL season. They had aspirations of winning their division and making it to the playoffs. There were even a few experts that predicted San Francisco to make it to the Super bowl. That changed drastically when the 49ers struggled out of the gate losing five straight games. Quarterback Troy Smith will attempt to get the 49ers back in the win column, but the Cardinals will try and use their home field advantage to get back into the hunt for a divisional title.
