The NHL does not wait too long after the holidays to get back into the swing of things and in fact they have a full slate of 11 games on tap for Sunday.
Here is a look at two of the best games for Sunday
Columbus Blue Jackets at Chicago Blackhawks
The Jackets are off a 7-3 pounding at the hands of the Vancouver Canucks but look forward to the meeting with the Blackhawks. The Jackets have lost three of the last four games and will have to play much better hockey if they plan on playing toe-to-toe with the Blackhawks.
The Blackhawks are playing some of the best hockey of the season and have won three straight heading into this hockey game. With three days to rest, the Blackhawks are in a very good position to beat the Blue Jackets on the day after Christmas.
The Edmonton Oilers need to start winning soon and will take that opportunity when they go up against the Canucks, the day after Christmas.
After a three game winning streak early in December the Oilers have struggled to put wins together. Since then they are 2-5 in the last seven contests and have lost four of those games by one goal or less.
The Canucks are playing much better hockey and should provide a difficult opponent on Sunday. They recently defeated the Blue Jackets 7-3 in the last outing and have won nine of the last 12 games in the month of December. The Canucks are going to be hard to stop at home with momentum from the last win.
The NHL is one of the most exciting sports to watch and wager on. Skybook offers the best wagering opportunities for the hockey bettor, so stop by and check it out today!
