Chicago Bears vs Dallas Cowboys

  • Time: Sunday, September 25, 6:30 PM
  • Place: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas
  • Betting Line: Cowboys -7
  • Total: 44.5

Bet on the Bears

The Bears are in a hole after losing their first two regular season games. The latest loss was to the Eagles for Monday Night Football, 29-14 which also ended in disaster after quarterback Jay Cutler and linebacker Lamarr Houston suffered injuries that could keep them from playing in this game.

Hopefully for the Bears, backup Brian Hoyer can pick up where Cutler left off and lead the offense to a victory. If Hoyer can connect with Alshon Jeffery and create some momentum via the air attack, the Bears might have a shot at winning. Chicago also needs to improve the ground game with running back Jeremy Langford kicking into gear.

As for the Bears’ defense, it needs to improve and take it to rookie Eagles’ quarterback Dak Prescott. Without Houston, the responsibility falls on Jerrell Freeman, Mitch Unrein and Danny Trevathan.

Bet on the Cowboys

Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott has fared well in the pros and leads the Cowboys offense well so far. Though losing the season-opener to the Giants, Prescott came back in the second game and led the offense to a win over the Redskins, 27-23, passing for 292 yards. Dallas has a balanced attack with Dez Bryant leading the way in the air attack and Ezekiel Elliot via the ground.

As for defense, the Cowboys can definitely exploit Cutler’s absence pestering Hoyer to commit turnovers.

Betting Trends

  • Chicago is 1-6 ATS in its last 7 games
  • Chicago is 1-6 SU in its last 7 games
  • Chicago is 6-2 ATS in its last 8 games on the road
  • Dallas is 0-3-2 ATS in its last 5 games at home
  • Dallas is 0-5 SU in its last 5 games at home
  • The total has gone OVER in 5 of Dallas's last 5 games when playing Chicago

Game Predictions: Rack one up for the Chicago Bears.

Indianapolis Colts vs San Diego Chargers

  • Time: Sunday, September 25, 2016 4:25 PM ET
  • Place: Lucas Oil Stadium
  • Betting Line: Colts -2.5
  • Total: 52

Bet on the Colts

Andrew Luck was unable to lead the offense to victory in their game against the Denver Broncos last week. The stern Broncos’ defense kept the Colts at just 3.8 yards per play and forced Luck to commit two costly turnovers that ended in touchdowns. Luck however could end up with big numbers against the Chargers that don’t have such a defense as that of Denver’s.

Indianapolis’ defense is also struggling and is hobbled by injuries to its players. The Colts’ D has given up at least 4.3 yards per carry through both games, allowing 266 yards through the air to Trevor Siemian.

Bet on the Chargers

The Chargers have had a good start this season, recently defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars, 38-14. San Diego however, might find itself hobbled by injuries to its players; they’ve already lost Keenan Allen and Danny Woodhead and this puts pressure on quarterback Philip Rivers to find viable targets to get his air attack going. The Chargers can set up a balanced attack with Melvin Gordon leading the way through the ground. Gordon ran for 100+ yards against the Jaguars last week.

Betting Trends

  • San Diego is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games
  • San Diego is 3-11 SU in its last 14 games
  • San Diego is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games on the road
  • The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Indianapolis's last 7 games when playing San Diego
  • Indianapolis is 1-12 ATS in its last 13 games when playing at home against San Diego
  • Indianapolis is 3-11 SU in its last 14 games when playing at home against San Diego

Game Predictions: The Chargers will upset Luck and the Colts. Bet on San Diego at +2.5.

Minnesota Vikings vs Carolina Panthers

  • Time: Sunday, September 25, 2016 1:00 PM ET
  • Place: Bank of America Stadium
  • Betting Line: Carolina -7
  • Total: 42.5

Bet on the Vikings

The Vikings are off to a good start winning both games played thus far. Sam Bradford has led the offense well, setting up an air attack that’s been effective in getting the job done. Bradford has connected with Stefon Diggs, who picked up 182 passing yards on nine catches with a touchdown in the game against the Green Bay Packers. Adrian Peterson hasn’t been a factor for the Vikings, in fact Peterson hasn’t really had good performances in both games and could miss out in this game due to an injury suffered to his knee.

Bet on the Panthers

The Panthers crushed the 49ers in their last game, 46-27, even while committing four turnovers and running back Jonathan Steward being fairly quiet in the game. Cam Newton got back on his horse after losing the season-opener and torched the 49ers with 353 yards and four touchdowns.

Cam Newton and the Panthers’ offense is very hard to stop when it gets into a flow. Newton has a slew of targets to run his air and ground attack with Kelvin Benjamin, Greg Olsen and Devin Funchess along with Ted Ginn Jr.

Betting Trends

  • Minnesota is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Minnesota is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games
  • Minnesota is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games on the road
  • Carolina is 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games when playing Minnesota
  • Carolina is 2-4 SU in its last 6 games when playing Minnesota
  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Carolina's last 6 games when playing Minnesota

Game Predictions: We’re looking at a Carolina win but it’s the Vikings that cover at +7.5.
