What’s more, those of us that are ready to place our bets, we now know how teams match up against each other.

Here’s how we see this week in NFL football betting:

Pittsburgh Steelers vs New England Patriots

There are a few factors that are affecting both of these team’s offenses.

All-Pro center Maurkice  Pouncey is missing for the Steelers, along with Le’Veon Bell and Martavis Bryan who are suspended. As for the Patriots, they’ll have to do without LeGarrette Blount and Julian Edelman (who is listed as probable).

This means that we might be in for a low-scoring game and you might want to consider taking the UNDER that is currently set at 52.5 in the betting lines.

Arizona Cardinals vs. New Orleans Saints

The Cardinals’ strong defensive unit, with the likes of Calais Campbell and Kevin Minter, may prove to be too much for the ailing Saints who are now without Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills.

Saints’ QB Drew Brees may not be able to find many openings for his passing game and this may give the Cardinals offense, led by QB Carson Palmer, the upper hand in this game.

We are siding with the Cardinals at -2.5 over the New Orleans Saints.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Carolina Panthers

The Jaguars are the 3.5 point dogs going into their game against the Carolina Panthers.

We’re expecting that the Jags will slow down the running game and that Cam Newton will not be able to connect with his receivers.

Although it’s still unknown whether Panthers’ Star Lotulelei will play, which would be great news for Jaguars’ QB Blake Bortles, Jacsonville should be able to cover the spread.

We’re taking Jacksonville at +3.5.

New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys

Both the Giants and the Cowboys are teams hobbled by injuries to key players.

The Giants are missing Victor Cruz and Jason Pierre Paul. Meanwhile, Orlando Scandrick is out for the Cowboys with a torn ACL. They’re also without Greg Hardy and Rolando McClain, who are suspended.

This opens up a world of possibilities for both quarterbacks and Eli Manning as well as Tony Romo should be able to connect with their receivers to put up many points on the scoreboard.

We like the OVER 51 on this game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Tennessee Titans

It’ll be a battle between two rookie quarterbacks as Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota guide the Buccaneers and the Titans respectively to a season opening win.

Perhaps it’s the Buccaneers’ offensive unit that has the edge over the Titans’ offense with players like Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson, Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Doug Martin, but if Mariota can stay safe behind his talented O-line, then he should be able to put up more points.

It was a hard choice, but we’re taking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ATS at -3.
