New England Patriots (3-2) vs. Buffalo Bills (3-2), Sunday, October 12, 1 PM.ET. CBS

After silencing their critics by dominating the previously undefeated Cincinnati Bengals, the Patriots have their sights set on reclaiming their position in the AFC East, and a win against the Buffalo Bills is the first step. They have won five straight games against Buffalo, and will try to extend the streak to six straight.

The Bills made a quarterback switch last week, benching second year starter E.J. Manuel for veteran Kyle Orton. Orton won his first start since week 17 last seasons, and will be going for his second in a row. The Bills should be able to run effectively against the Patriots, who have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL.

Game Line: The Patriots are favored to win the game by 3 points, the Over/Under is 45.5 points.

Personal Pick: The Patriots know they can’t afford to fall behind the Bills in the division, and will win the game.

Chicago Bears (2-3) vs. Atlanta Falcons (2-3), Sunday, October 12, 4:25 PM. ET. FOX.

The Bears have struggled offensively in the second half of their last two games, which has cost them the games. Quarterback Jay Cuter has to take better care of the ball, and find a way to get Brandon Marshall going, to give the Bears a chance to win against the Falcons.

Devin Hester will be playing against his former team for the first time since he was released in the offseason, so don’t be surprised if he has a big game. The Falcons have to play better on defense, or they will be in trouble against Chicago’s offense, which is capable of putting up a lot of points.

Game Line: The Falcons are favored to win this game by 3 points, the Over/Under is 53.5 points.

Personal Pick: The Bears will exploit Atlanta’s defense, and win the game.

New York Giants (3-2) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (4-1), Sunday, October 12, 8:30 PM. ET. NBC.

The Giants put their three game winning streaks on the line against the Eagles, who are tied on top of the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys. The Giants should be able to score on Philadelphia’s defense, which is one of the worst in the NFL.

The Eagles poor defensive play has almost cost them some games, but their offense has been able to bail them out, they will need to play better when they face the Giants, who have been putting up a lot of points during their three game winning streak.

Game Line: The Eagles are favored to win by 3 points, the Over/Under is 50.5 points.

Personal Pick: Philadelphia’s poor defensive play will cost them the game against the Giants.

San Francisco 49ers (3-2) vs. St. Louis Rams (1-4), Monday, October 13, 8:30 PM. ET. ESPN.

The play of Frank Gore is one of the reasons the 49ers have won their last two games, the team will make him the focal point of their offense again when they play the Rams, who have one of the worst run defenses in the league.

Despite the loss of Sam Bradford for the season, the Rams played very well against the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, who have a combined record of 8-2, Austin Davis is quickly establishing himself as a capable replacement for Bradford, and will try to win his second game as a starter.

Game Line: The 49ers are favored to win the game by 3 points, the Over/Under are 43.5 points.

Personal Pick: The 49ers will win their third straight game against the Rams.
