But, there are some interesting surprises. And, we can all look forward for what Week 14 has in store because suddenly the race to the playoffs got a little bit more complicated.

Let’s take a look at what you can expect.

AFC Standings

Pittsburgh Steelers (10-2)

The Steelers win over the Bengals on Monday was as bone-breaking tough, literally. Pittsburgh wound up snatching back the No. 1 seed in the process, but the top seed won’t be decided until Week 15 when they face the Patriots in what’s sure to be the game of the week.

New England Patriots (10-2)

For now, the Pats are still holding on to a first-round bye, because as we mentioned above things won’t be settled until they face the Steelers in a couple of weeks. New England defeated the Bills on the road last week, but the real test is down the line, will they end up with the No. 1 seed?

Tennessee Titans (8-4)

The Titans beat the Texans behind a 75-yard touchdown run from Derrick Henry. Tennessee also finds itself in a neck-to-neck battle for the AFC South division lead with the Jacksonville Jaguars and is holding on, for now, to the No. 3 seed.

Kansas City Chiefs (6-6)

The Chiefs are in a dangerous tailspin after losing to the Giants, Bills, and Giants consecutively. They find themselves in a three-way tie for the division with the Chargers and Raiders albeit while still holding the tiebreaker.

Jacksonville Jaguars (8-4)

The Jaguars did away with the Colts on Sunday behind a solid defensive effort and a strong running game. They might make a run for the division title, but for the moment look good to make the postseason.

Baltimore Ravens (7-5)

The Ravens took apart the Lions, keeping the No. 6 seed in the process. It was a great game where the Ravens manhandled Matthew Stafford and the Lions offense.

Still In The Hunt…

Los Angeles Chargers (6-6)

The Chargers beat the Browns without any surprise, except for the fact that somehow they seemed to struggle to win. They’re still alive in the race though.

Buffalo Bills(6-6)

The Bills will have to scramble to make it to the playoffs and Nathan Peterman will have to make one heck of an effort at it if he’s to lead his team forward.

Oakland Raiders (6-6)

Same as the two teams above, the Raiders will have to make a great effort to make it to the postseason.

NFC Standings

Minnesota Vikings (10-2)

The Vikings are on a rampage. They’re practically locked into the playoffs as it is and need just one more win. Can they make it all the way to the Super Bowl (which happens to be in Minnesota)? Who knows, the competition is tough but if they do it’ll be a first.

Philadelphia Eagles (10-2)

The Eagles dropped the ball in Seattle along with the No. 1 seed in the NFC. It has to be a harrowing prospect that they might end up without a bye in the playoffs if they slip up from here on out.

Los Angeles Rams (9-3)

The Rams jumped right back in the fray after beating the Cardinals on the road. It’s a tough road ahead nevertheless, with games against the Eagles and then the Seahawks, so there’s no time to rest.

New Orleans Saints (9-3)

The Saints swept the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon and held on to the top spot in the NFC South. Alvin Kamara continues to impress and is a likely candidate to receive the rookie of the year award.

Seattle Seahawks (8-4)

The Seahawks jumped ahead in defeating the Eagles. They’re pretty much banged up, so we’ll see how they fare from here on.

Carolina Panthers (8-4)

The Panthers losses to the Saints and Eagles have to sting, but at 8-4 they’re technically still in the race. However, the stiff competition in the NFC may push them out of the race.

Still In the hunt…

Atlanta Falcons (7-5)

After losing to the Vikings at home, the road is bleak because there are plenty of teams hot on their heels.

Detroit Lions (6-6)

The loss to the Ravens on Sunday may have just killed their playoff hopes.

Green Bay Packers (6-6)

Aaron Rodgers may be healthy enough to jump in which gives the Packers some hope. But, at this point it may be too late already.

Dallas Cowboys (6-6)

The Cowboys win over the Redskins on Thursday night saved the day for them. But, it’s an all-out battle from here on out for the wild card.

Arizona Cardinals (5-7)

The Cardinals are holding on strong, but are a hobbled team.

Washington Redskins (5-7)

Washington fell out of the race after their loss to the Cowboys. But, they still have a sliver of hope.
