Bet on Real Madrid

After losing the first match against Wolfsburg in the last round, Real Madrid was in a pretty pickle. However, their Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, rose to the occasion in the second match with a hat trick at Bernabeu that led to the pass to the semis.

Ronaldo however, might not be at full strength against the Citizens after having suffered an injury last week. This undoubtedly might be a big factor to Real’s attack strategy and a blow to fans wanting to see Cristiano play against his former team.

Nevertheless, Real Madrid doesn’t have a shortage of talent on board and head coach Zinedine Zidane could adjust with Bale and Benzema up front. Benzema however, is also questionable due to injury, so another option would be to split the full time between Ronaldo and Benzema and bring on James and Jese as mid forwards.

Real Madrid will be in the hunt for a valuable away goal. With everything riding on the line, Real will play aggressively to open up the lanes for their talented forwards and the quick goal.

Bet on Manchester City

Man City has been steadily improving since March. After a difficult three game losing streak, the Citizens have then gone on to win five matches with only two draws in their last seven games, which included the defeat of the French champions Paris Saint-Germain in the last round of this competition.

The Citizens have benefited from the return of their Belgian mid-fielder Kevin De Bruyne who has joined forces with Sergio “El Kun” Aguero to form an effective duo up front. The pair should prove useful against Real Madrid’s often shaky defense and with Real probably vying to attack aggressively with their forwards, it might open up further opportunities for goals.

De Bruyne is ready to go and well-rested. Manuel Pellegrini will likely complete the mid field with either David Silva or Yaya Toure, two talented players that open up the field for Aguero and De Bruyne. He could also go with Raheem Sterling and Jesus Navas.

Captain Vincent Kompany might also return to this game, which could be a big morale boost for Man City. Eliaquim Mangala and Nicolas Otamendi have regardless filled in nicely at backfield only allowed one goal in their last four matches.

Game Predictions: Both teams will score tonight and this will be one of the most exciting matches to date. However, if Aguero and De Bruyne aggressively attack Madrid’s defense, it might prove to be Manchester City's night. We foresee both Aguero and De Bruyne scoring a goal and leading Man City to a win at Etihad Stadium.
