Game 4 Washington Wizards vs Atlanta Hawks

  • When: Monday, April 24, 2017, 8:00 PM ET
  • Where: Philips Arena ñ Atlanta, GA
  • Spread: Hawks -2.5
  • Over/Under: 210.5

Analysis: Game 3 gave a glimpse that the tide may be turning in favor of the Hawks. The Wizards ran out of steam from the get-go and wound up losing 116-98. John Wall was the sole figure that put up more than 20 points for the Wizards, while Bradley Beal had an off night, only scoring 12 points on 6 of 20 shooting from the field.

Meanwhile, Atlanta hit the ground running and left the Wizards eating their dust since the first period of Game 3. Paul Millsap and Dennis Schroder loosed a barrage of points, scoring 29 and 27 points respectively, while rookie Taurean Prince is averaging 14 points and just under five rebounds in this series.

Game Prediction: After tonight, the series is tied 2-2. Atlanta wins and covers.

Golden State Warriors vs Portland Trail Blazers

  • When: Monday, April 24, 2017, 10:30 PM ET
  • Where: Moda Center ñ Portland, Oregon
  • Spread: Warriors -7
  • Over/Under: 219.5

Analysis: Despite dominating this series against the Trail Blazers, the Warriors have not been without problems. Injuries to key players, including Kevin Durant, and even head coach Steve Kerr, have not slowed Golden State but a pace.

Behind an MVP-worthy performance from Stephen Curry, who spearhead the come-from-behind win in Game 3 with 34 points and eight assists, along with Klay Thompson, who added 24 points, the Warriors are one step away from sweeping this series. Andre Iguodala and Javale McGee provided a combined 30 points off the bench.

Meanwhile, Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum’s efforts fell flat, after Portland’s defense was unable to stop Golden State’s torching pace. Though both players scored over 20 points a piece in their last game, Portland still allowed over 100 points which is the average of points allowed in each of their last three games. Jusuf Nurkic did provide some support on defense, but aggravated an injury in game 3 that might keep him from playing in tonight’s game.

Game Prediction: Don’t keep your hopes too high that Portland wins tonight. Most likely they’ll lose; however, the ATS bet is solid and my pick for this game. Portland +7.
