Here is a look at two of the games that will play a big role in forming the playoff landscape in the NFL.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns
The Steelers started the year off without the services of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger but are just one win away from securing the second seed in the AFC playoffs. However if they lose against Cleveland on Sunday they could also get the sixth seed.
The Browns are eliminated from post season play but with the emergence of running back Peyton Hillis they will love to play spoiler against their rival in the AFC North.
St. Louis Rams at Seattle Seahawks
Not many NFL experts would predict that the Seattle Seahawks and the St. Louis Rams would be playing for the NFC West title on the last day of the week. That is exactly what is going to happen this week on Sunday Night Football.
Head coach Peter Carroll has a chance of leading the Seahawks to a division crown despite the fact the team has a losing record and have lost three straight games.
The Rams have had quite a turnaround this season led by rookie quarterback Sam Bradford and have a legitimate shot of winning this game and making the post season.
Seattle may not have the services of quarterback Matt Hasselbeck who is currently suffering from an injury. If he is not able to play back-up Charlie Whitehurst will make his second start of his career. Regardless of who starts, the Seattle home faithful will provide plenty of energy and noise as they cheer on the home team.
The last week of the NFL is going to be a good one, don’t miss out on the great games and wagering opportunities.
