Wednesday Night NBA Card in Focus

NBA Basketball Sports Headlines

Wednesday is the middle of the work week and often one of the toughest days to get through. The NBA will try to make things easier with a exciting schedule of games.
Betting on basketball has never been easier at Skybook. Do not miss out on Skybook’s free half point promotion available for Basketball straight wagers placed Fridays from 2pm -10pm EST. In basketball every point counts, so this is a promotion that you cannot afford to miss.
Wednesday’s NBA schedule features two of the best teams in the league in action. Here is a preview of the games on tap.
Detroit Pistons at Boston Celtics
Normally a game between the Detroit Piston and the Boston Celtics would not draw too much attention, but the Pistons already beat the Celtics once this season.
The Pistons have struggled to win on the road this year and have yet to hit double digits in road victories while the Celtics have already eclipsed the 30 win mark at the Garden. The Celtics have had to deal with a slew of injuries this year to most notably Kevin Garnett, but are still considered one of the best teams in the league.
If they take the Pistons lightly, Rip Hamilton and the rest of the team could pull off the upset once again.
The Dallas Mavericks started the year off on a great note as they were one of the best teams in the league and then injuries struck. Caron Butler, the Mavericks third leading scorer was lost for the season and Dirk Nowitzki has missed games due to an injury causing the team to go into a tail spin.
Nowitzki will be back for this game against Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. If the Mavericks want to get back into contention for the West than a win against the Lakers is paramount.
