AFC Wildcard: KC vs. Baltimore

The Kansas City Chiefs will attempt to continue their miraculous run when they host the Baltimore Ravens this weekend. The Chiefs won the AFC West by running their way to the division lead and never looking back. That may not be so easy to do when they play the Ravens in the Wildcard game this weekend.
The latest NFL sports betting odds for this game as posted by Skybook have the Ravens listed as three (-115) point road favorites.
The Chiefs offense deserves respect for putting up great numbers this year.
Kansas City had one of the league’s most productive offenses, averaging 349.7 yards while finishing with more than 400 seven times. Kansas City’s leading receiver with 1,162 yards and NFL-best 15 touchdowns, is Dwayne Bowe, who is demanding double coverage.
The Chiefs possess a great rushing attack. The Chiefs are led by Jamaal Charles who was second in the NFL in rushing yards with 1,467, averaging an impressive 6.4 per carry. He has game breaking ability and is a solid compliment to Thomas Jones. Putting up those kinds of numbers against the Ravens will be tough.
The Ravens are ranked No. 5 against the run in the NFL allowing just 93 yards per game. Ray Lewis clogs the middle and forces offense to pass which plays right into the hands of the ball hawking secondary of the Ravens. Ed Reed patrols the secondary and leads the NFL in interceptions this season.
Both teams have trends in their favor for this game.
The Chiefs are 6-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last seven games following a loss and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games as an underdog.
The Ravens are 26-10-1 ATS in their last 37 games on grass, 7-3 ATS in their last 10 playoff road games, and 4-1 ATS in their last five Wildcard games.
The Kansas City Chiefs will use their home field advantage to get a quality win over the Baltimore Ravens and advance to the next round of the NFL playoffs.
